Acc Articulation Agreements

Some articulation agreements are part of ARTSYS, the maryland articulation system, which is designed to support your transfer from the AACC to institutions in the Maryland University System and other participating institutions. Other agreements are concluded outside artsys as partnerships between the AACC and individual institutions. These agreements are set out below. Articulation agreements define courses that are comparable or acceptable to the requirements of the college or university to which students are transferred. Formal articulation agreements guarantee students that certain completed courses will be transferred and can meet the general and/or lower requirements of elective courses or courses at the transfer institution. Below is a list of four-year institutions with links and guides to help students plan their transfer to a four-year degree. This is not a complete list of all potential transfer targets. University-specific information, including transfer guides, 2+2 agreements, course equivalencies and core program information, will be made public when available. The university`s website will always contain the most accurate and up-to-date information available. The following agreements help students transition from an external institution to an AACC program. In addition to transfer agreements for specific fields of study (more on this below), the AACC maintains general transfer partnerships with several institutions that go beyond individual fields.

In addition to the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CBA), Alamance Community College has entered into articulation agreements with certain colleges and universities to ensure a seamless transfer experience. These agreements assist AACC students who move from the AACC to an external institution to continue their studies. The list is organized by partner institutions and then by major of the AACC. The agreements include worksheets or zebra crossovers that indicate the AACC courses you should take if you plan to transfer to a specific institution for the listed major. Austin Community College`s (VAC) Office of Academic Articulation and Relations is responsible for creating and maintaining effective academic partnerships that enable CCA students to make an effective transition to the universities of their choice. This office works proactively with CCA and university faculty to develop clear and specific transfer articulation processes and agreements that ensure the transferability of CCA courses and degrees. CCA has developed articulation agreements, also known as transfer agreements, with more than 60 colleges and universities. These agreements ensure that the courses you take at VAC are transferred and applied to your bachelor`s degree requirements. They describe the minimum GPA requirements for admission, the maximum number of credit hours that are transferred, and transferable courses for specific degrees or majors.

Graduates of the BeeLine program receive guaranteed admission and have various opportunities to participate on the UB campus. West Coast University (WCU) acknowledges that the American Career College (ACC) courses listed in this Agreement are equivalent in results and competencies to the corresponding WCU courses and are therefore transferable to WCU`s parallel bachelor`s degree programs. VAC students transitioning to WCU must meet all admission transfer credit and program requirements.
